    DIY Carbon Y6

I have built this one a while ago and still trying to set ip up for stable fpv flight. It has got a naza Fc on it dji opto escs and avrotos spinning graupners. Flight times( mostly hover) are around 8 minutes with single 5000 mah 4s nanotech and 12 minutes with double.

    Sweetness!

Can you post that video without the deshaker? It messes with my eyes.

Much better! I think the youtube deshaker gets confused by the fisheye effect. Looks very smooth and stable! Are you using any vibration dampening or isolating? I see you have avrotos and graupner props so that certainly helps but I'm still surprised you have no jello because usually with a Y6 the prop wash from the upper motor slaps the prop on the lower and creates vibrations. I built a Y6 last month for some experimenting but didn't stick with it because it was so much louder.

Thanks I m using silicone tubing for dampening. I like y6 especially for its clear camera view but pay off is flight times. Here are some built photos
Center plate is from 2mm carbon sheet and the arms are 16 mm carbon tube. Click image for larger version

Boom blocks are from Jakub and I used the image on his site to build plates when switched to avrotos. I planned whole thing with google sketchup and cut all parts with dremel.
