Headlight. Your headlight stays on during the day. I often have my highbeams on for better visibility. You could also get a device that flashes between high and low (I forget what it's called).

    Here's the deal with motorcycles:

They are not seen as well as cars and trucks
Wrecks have significantly increased chances of harm

They are the fastest and most maneuverable things on the road which allow them to get out of situations better
The lack of a cage around you makes you more aware of your environment

I don't think they are any more dangerous than a car if the rider is willing to be aware of his surroundings simply because they escape danger really well. This is coming form a guy who wears out the sides of his shoes from scraping his footpegs on the road on classic motorcycles. I have been in 3 wrecks. Not one with another vehicle. I was never injured in any of them, but I do ride with full gear too.

If it is broken, fix it. if it isn't broken, I'll soon fix that.

The majority of the motorcycle wrecks and motorcycle deaths around here, are the riders own faults. They all get together on the weekends playing badass. Get totally wasted going from bar to bar. Wives fall off the back of bikes beacuse they are so drunk they can't hold on. Or end up in the wrong lane or in a corn field...........

Bikes are DEFINITELY more dangerous than cars... and I don't say that just bc I drag-raced a Busa 1300. People have trouble guaging the speed of bikes. Not to mention, from a long time rider, I'd say that 2 in 20 guys REALLY know how to ride. And I've ridden in packs for many years. When you meet one of those 2 guys though and you get to ride with him... it's an awesome feeling.
