News products are coming in 2012 ?

Tooling has been opened up for the BASE 2012 version due out in 2 - 3 months. There should be no reason for delay as it shares the optics and LCD driver with Classic. BASE 2012 is a basic display with no HT and maintains the popular Futaba style cable connector. It also has video sync lock IC for solid image with mixed components.

Do these have adjustable IPD? To be quite frank this is the only think I pretty much care about as this is the number one problem for me. The fatshark goggles even with the adjustable IPD allow you to change the distance only by like 4mm, this isnt enough. I hope the problem has finally been dealt with.

But what about the base goggles, those are what I'm interested in (no mention of IPD). Also theres a difference between IPD thats actually effective and the IPD that can be adjusted only along a small distance. Like I said the IPD that existed in the earlier goggles were not that effective, atleast for me anyway. I must have very small IPD.

No idea about the new base model , cant see any idp adjustment in the pic but you cant in the new classic either, and yet it has it!
So until Gregory replys i cant help you.
He has told me (i have narrow idp also) that the new ones (classic)will be right up my alley though, so stay tuned for more info .

Due to space limitations, the Classic and new BASE have adjustable IPD about the same amount as the original. However, with the slightly lower 35 FOV the IPD isn't as critical as on the previous version (not so for the SVGA which is still 46 FOV).

A limited number of pilot samples will ship to retailers and reviewers this week. They will be commonly available in July.
