    roberto, always try and stay away from construction that has weak points like what i circled in red. Even without a crash, simple vibrations will resonate in areas like this and cause cracks, even in fiberglass. Just round that spot.

    One other thing... if you are going for appearance, then continue as planned, otherwise....dont over engineer the arms, its not needed.

    Thx Greg. In fact those points are stressed somewhat, but how to attach the arms to the frame? there isn´t much one can do.

    My new design uses helicopter tail booms as arms, so they are readily available and cheap. It is a really different thing so I want to keep it a surprise.

    The motor mounts were supposed to be cut from aluminum w/ water jet.
    The first company has a broken machine.
    Second company charges too much.
    3 and 4 th companies denied to cut the pieces because of the detail.

    I might be redesigning for a full fiberglass solution...

    damn water jet cutters...
