all DISCOVERY orders are going to ship late first week of June, early 2nd week.
Tim,
I know the metric stuff is difficult to find, especially M2.5 & M3 shoulder, socket cap hardware.
I use McMaster Carr for all of my prototyping gear, from hardware to billet aluminum and titanium.
They even had the elusive M3.5 hardware I needed for my Vario.
I hope that helps the search for similar hardware to the DJI gear.
Cheers,
Brian
Trappy,
Sorry man, i needed a break from all things RC. The foam i used is from Home Depot ; its insulation rubberized foam (http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1...&storeId=10051). Its great for low freq vibes but the Discovery suffers from low-mid freq vibes. I was trying to redo the front of the bottom plate using miniture version of : http://www.quadrocopter.us/downloads...6Manual-v7.pdf Pages 11 + However i just need to fly and stop dicking around with stuff. I feel that is going to be our ticket to solve the vibes out. I actually have this frame and the MK stuff for another couple of weeks, i will try to show you how effective the o rings are.
Can some body tell me what the hole distances for the motors on the DJI arms are?

How many engineers does it take to change a light bulb?
3. One to hold the light bulb and two to turn the ladder.
hehe ok. we were playing around with something similar, cured the vibrations spot on and you could fly it at mid speed but as soon as you did a "juz drop" the whole apparatus moved. we're playing around with aquagel now, hoping that's the cure
can't find the info, not at home right now so can't do measurements. anyone willing to chip in?
if you have a mill or drill press with a vise you could move, notch the holes open further but stock is 16x19. I've been running 19x19 motors with 2 bolts for months, crashed alot, no sign of it being a problem
same here
