I'm going to try and answer my own question for anyone else trying to find the input voltage to tiny & trace.

Looks like it's limited to 5 volts but is capable of reading thru the current sensor 3s or 4s

Interesting, the older style rebranded 4hz model says it has a range of 7.4 to 12 volts.

The Trace and Tiny (any version) both run off of 5v From the RCRX. The CURRENT SENSOR is what HK is talking about. It will read 7 to 12 volt on the old CS the new CS reads up to a 4S.
Yeah I broke it. But I have Duck tape so its ok.

I recently put a Tiny III on my 4s quadcopter and everything is close on these things but for the ranges we fly (close in) it is working out fine. I have noticed that my GPS will not acquire sat's the first time everything boots up together. I am using one battery for everything with step down buck and LC filter to power video system. I have to hit the reset button and it grabs sat's in a few seconds and I am ready to fly. I recommend a single battery. Less weight, more efficient and less for you to forget and leave plugged in!
