    Short fat battery?

I'm running 3s-3000's on my radian pro and would like to try a bigger battery. The problem is 3s-3000's are long and flat'ish shaped. I'd much rather have a battery more brick shaped, short and fat. Anything to push the CG back.

Is there a mfg that makes a short fat battery in the 3s 3000-4000 range?

Thanks Ian, you got me unstuck. Gotta think about that one. A fair bit of surgery to get him in there. I want form fitting lipo clay.

A bit of a coincidence really, I happen to just stumble across that battery only last week

Are Rhino's ok for FPV? They seem like an off brand...or am I being a snob?

Is there any reason to worry about the 3s2p from a reliability stand point?

Did you get another Radian? I went out and flew the EPP FPV some today with the new 2.4 gear and SkyLark. Way better than the stuff I had in it last week when we were flying.

Nope, no problem, the 3s2p just means that it uses 3 sets of two 1s batteries in parrallel. Each pair still charges as one cell.

You may also want to have a look at saddle packs that the car idiots* use. Even though they have a hard case, you can wire them up any way you want without any mods. I have 2 (unused) 1s3p, 5700mah saddle packs that measure 68mm long by 46mm wide by 30mm tall, and they weigh 157g each

Many says that among HK LiPos Rhino's are best, but I have no personal experience. They are in particular popular among T450 users (2200 mah range).
