What I have is a 150 when powered up got good video but will not arm or connect to pc.
1. Using dx9 radio all other quads fly fine and connect to pc
2. I can get to on screen menu but cursor moves on its own upward direction
3. Tried new reciever did not work
4. Checked all connections , good
5. Rebound to radio, still the same
6. Managed to get into tx wizard reset and now stuck there with the bars in the wizard bouncing all over
Any ideas?

Yes if the bars are dancing then it doesn't see your receiver. Try connecting it to the Vortex configurator and set your Rx type there first. Then see if it starts working.
That's a problem too, will not even connect to the configurator. I use a cord that all other quads will connect so cord is good. When powered up quad does see radio, I know cause I can turn the beeper on and off by the switch I assigned
For some reason, the old IRC Tools has a different, older driver that works for a lot of people. Make sure you go into device manager (on windows) and uninstall the old driver before installing the new one from IRC tools. A lot of people (including my self) have a similar issue to this, I really wish IRC would make the driver available to download on their product page or something. Drivers are in place all my other vortexs connect, been thinking I might have a pdb problem

Problem solved! Pdb was bad along with fc
Wow how did you manage to do that? Never killed a 150 before and that's not beceause lack of trying
The fc was the main culprit. Changed the pdb just to be safe and the old one is being kept as a spare
