ez uhf and Taranis issues. Is there a work around

I have been having some range issues since I moved all my gear to the taranis. Since I've been building a lot I thought it was my wiring somewhere. After a lot of checking I have found that it is the ezuhf and the Taranis. I have check using a boxed version and a module version. It looks like my radio kicks a ton of noise when the antenna is close to it. I get failsafes all over the show.Through searching, I see some have this issue and some do not. I'm guessing it's a voltage regulator in the taranis that is ass pumping me.

What can I do to fix this issue?

let me know how to do that with the module. Moving the antenna away helps but I still am getting failsafes stupidly close.

im sure I remember reading a while ago aboot needing to change to a 3s lipo in taranis to run the ezuhf. I think the same thread guys were lining the insides of the radio with copper tape due to high rf noise. I getting old and my memory is fading

Doobie, age is only part of the problem . Yes the aluminum box loses some power as the 3s goes down in voltage but the jr module tx has a 5v regulator in it and the stock battery should be ok for that one. I think he tried the module so I guess the battery isn't the problem. I have heard of the transmitter on high power causing a taranis to go nuts but not the other way around. I have been using the aluminum box and taranis for a long time on a lot of planes and quads and have had good luck with that combination. Actually I just came back from over 11 miles tonight with my Chimera.

I have both the box and the module. I used to use the box only on a futaba 9c and never had any issues. I just needed more than 9 channels. I'm using a 3s battery in it currently but I just tried the included battery and I still get the same humming with the module which I am guessing will still kill my range.

What are some good radios that work with the module and don't screw up (which I can buy in Europe)
