So you have issues with both boxed as module version on your taranis? Do you have 2.4 dissabled when you select the external module?

Yes I do have the boxed and module and yes the 2.4ghz internal is off. I just check to make sure. No it is not the ezuhf issue either. I just put it on my futaba and flew my copter out 7km. This is why I am hoping you might of heard of this issue and have a fix

.... or if not, can you recommend some good radios that the module would work in. (which can be bought in Europe)

Hmm never heard of an taranis issue. I use one myself with both boxed and jr module without any issues. Maybe the horus is an option or another taranis? Can you borrow one somewhere to see if its just your radio?

I'm going to try to update the firmware. I changed it from the european version to the international version. I read that no one else is having this type of issue and that does concern me.

I have a very similar issue. Taranis X9D and JR Module. Cost me 2 ****ing (excuse my language) planes that I enjoyed flying and a set of wings on a 3rd that was just built and was less than 500 feet away from me when the controls locked out. I foolishly have had it set to high power though, but the internal 2.4ghz is off. I bought the external module to test and see if it makes any difference. I'm really not happy, considering the time and money lost because of a glitchy system. I am at the point where I am ready to jump ship to another LRS that's more reliable. I may buy a different radio first and see if that works, but this is absolutely ridiculous...
