So I gathered some bits from the "bay" and started fiddling.

    Attachment 9338

    The item list was
1 x 3.5" 640x480 colour LCD screen, used for rear view parking on cars £15
    1 x credit card lens £1
    1 x AV lead £2

I made the black epp case on my cnc hot wire

I was not that optimistic , but the result is very good indeed, i have tested it with a few pals who use fat sharks (as do I), and they were amazed especially for £18 (approx 28 USD).

the screen is at the back so you can get to the adjust buttons easily for contrast / brightness etc.

The credit card lens is in front of the screen, this is the key to it all, and can be moved back and forward so that you don't go cross eyed

Would certainly be good for a secondary unit or even a primary viewing unit.

Bought a set of these from flyingwings.co.uk for £9.95 + postage

Basic but they work really well

You get the EPP bits stuck together and the fresnel screen on a piece with a couple of ply tabs for adjustment and a basic set of instructions that really just tell you where to look on ebay for the display

Quickly put mine together to try, work really well. No light gets in if you hold it up to your face, but the EPP is rough, needs some foam strip, and a strap if you don't intend to hold it there

As you can see I already had a small display unit with a PCB RX on the back, all I did was velcro the battery to the top

    MK2 will be slightly better

Ive never tried Fathshraks but I doubt the picture size and quality is better than this, the adjustable screen means anyone can use it to view without buying expensive addon lenses

I like it, simple and works

    Hello
    Something like this

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-3-TFT-LC...item2a2a24b166

I used a 4.3" one, mainly to make it as big as possible

If you want the smaller 3.5" one then

    stgdz,
if you wear BiFocals (glasses or Reading Glasses) use these 'LARGER' Ski Mask. It allows to use Glasses because
the Ski Mask is larger???? (still waiting for answer from the guy that makes these Dominator Ski Goggle add on's)....

RcLab is right. Here is how I did mine and I can wear glasses under them. Goggles can be picked up at WalMart for 10 bucks and then held to the foam tunnel by zip ties. In addition I just used the goggles lens as a pattern and cut a new one out of a page size Fresnel lens and put it in place of the goggles stock lens. With this set up you may not even need to wear your glasses you may find but if you do you will have plenty of room.
In the last two pictures you can just barley see the two of the four zip ties holding the goggles and ''theater'' together.
