I did't even hit record or turn on my video system for mine...
if you want to get the maiden on film, fly the first flight, then land, turn on the camera and then film the second and call it a maiden.. hahaha

you can use kwick grip (the spray on type)- sold at bunnings. and for the iron i just use a normal clothes iron. just don't let it get "too" hot.
i film all maidens. even if you destroy it it is at least worth it for the video haha. if it is just a photo of the corpse it is more depressing IMO
make sure you set everything up as per the manual and launch with gusto! and get someone else to wear the goggles while you fly LOS till you are certain the FPV is ready to go! there is nothing quite like launching it , trimming it out then pulling the goggles down and seeing nothing but snowstorms. happened to some guy i know who used a transmitter that had spent a few minuets submerged in the ocean. what an idiot.
Okay cool I think I'm going to bunning tomorrow.
I shall film it then and hopefully won't find any laughs.
I think I'll use a broken camera to mount for the first few launches.
Don't want to smash my new one for a bad launch.
