Haha that is a sweet story and a unique way to stumble upon FPV! Definitely want to hear more about this, what freq did you pick up?

With so many FPVers popping up I've started scanning the sky before powering up my plane, haven't picked up another FPVer yet but I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

Just need a uhf system, hear too many bad things about lockouts and spektrum, also need a good place to shakedown this tricopter (been flying it LOS lately).

Welcome. I am moving to FL next week. Where in FL are you? Just launching a loaded ZII will be a challenge and I agree with Senty and airbagit -- get a simple foamy and fly LOS first, then move up from there.
