    Twin EZStar

I was peruzing U-tube looking at other FPV vids of EZStars and came across this guy -
He seems pretty cool, good dad - his kids are in a lot of vids but his idea is pretty cool.

Except for cutting the wingtips off...

I live really close to this guy and Ive always wanted to come over and check it out. I think the idea of having another cockpit on the same plane for a passenger is a really cool idea. Although it would require some more channels or a some modification to combine both PPM streams for the head tracking. I think I might buy another twinstar now and make a tristar with 3 motors haha.

I love my TwinStar II it was the first plane I ever built but I have never tried a one motor landing. I did however do a 1.5 motor landing when stupid me bent the motor shaft and tried to fly it with not enough thrust coming out one motor. It banked pretty hard I turned around and landed it figuring It wasn't flyable. Although id rather do a no motor landing than a 1 motor landing (Im still not very good at rudder landings). Although if I did do a Tristar I would do what that guy did but have another motor between the two bodies.

Is this what you were talking about?

Yep! Love that plane, not because it's a gutless wonder just because it was the mainstay in Germany during the 30's and 40's...
I watched an entire Military Channel show about it...pretty cool..different.

Also, if you ask me, fairly attractive in the "Greg has a thing for ugly airplanes" kinda way.

    Me too.

I believe it was the C-97 Stratofreighter that was as ugly but I loved it - was the cover shot for Clive Cussler's VIxen 03 book - sitting underwater with lights on - LOVE that photo...
This book inspired a book I am (and have been) working on for many years....my story is similiar but different..

Yeah the Stratofreighter is up there for me too, especially with the awkward nose cargo doors open.

I also like weird junk like the Avro Vulcan.
