Yes it is printed so it's plastic.
Just been redesigned for lighter weight and SD card removal without taking the gopro out.

looks pretty cool, i have printed a bunch of gopro accessories now that you can download if you want.

edit: also any reason you didnt make any velcro attachments or hold downs part of the design so the camera wont fly out? would be super easy to add a few mm of height (to match the height of the gopro) then add a strap over the top of the gopro with a few printed tabs.
