Looks like the Ez gear is still in good shape, luckily as we wouldn't want you defecting to the girly side. if you left the throttle at 1/3 that could smoke the ESC if it doesn't have an overcurrent cutoff.

I guess I spoke too soon (note to self read all posts in topic) the current sensor got toasted, PM me your address and I'll send you a replacement. I would also suggest switching to XT60 connectors.

On a serious note, move away from Deans and start using XT60s. Deans, even the original ones, start becoming loose over time (= higher contact resistance) and the arching further smears the contact areas with soot (= higher contact resistance) which you push inwards every time (= even more contact resistance). On top of that the small metal leaf spring that makes the connectors mate sees metal fatique over time, or becomes less 'springy' (= connector = loose) I've had a few connectors where one has broken off already, but I guess I fly more often than the average pilot. From the next batch onwards all ImmersionRC gear will have XT60s.

Agree I took deans off all my rigs and replaced them with XTs. I think I soldered like 35 XT connectors to ESCs and batts in 1 night. Was not a fun night.

For the hearing impaired amongst us, here's a picture:
Get them here, don't go for the fake ones, they'll melt during soldering which misaligns the pins (= bad idea)
