you need to reprogram your "good idea" circuitry. to me it ranks right up there with building a supersonic chase-plane

It flew right over our campus a couple of times. We're a few miles north of Andrews Air Force Base so they must have done a pattern over the base which brought them right overhead twice. I got several photos looking straight up at it's belly as it went over.

Does the shuttle move its control surfaces when piggyback?
    Tractors are where it's at.

Tears to my eyes, end of an era ... 30 years of service, that's an impressive feat of engineering.

COnsidering the speeds and distances --- 30 years is more than we could ask for those aging beasts. But sad that we didn't see it coming and have a viable successor ready to go. I'm all about intercontinental partnerships but something about "hitching a ride w/ the Russians" to get to space doesn't feel right.

The US' lack of dedication and vision in the space program after the race to the moon can only be described as disappointing I'm afraid. When I was a kid I was expecting to be walking on the moon when I was 30-ish years of age, unfortunately that didn't happen, we're still just shooting the same old space capsules into space as we were 50 years ago.

So what are you calling this standoff between RCG and FPVLAB exactly? I am already working on my FPV piloted AA missile to bring down those pesky Skywalkers with full house ET setup
