Will look forward to the pics Hoss

is is the contact adhesive you suggest the same as UHU POR? And Have you heard of a spray glue being used to join the wings together instead?

Which goop do you use? Please post a link. I hope i can find some in the UK it seems to come in dozens of different types.

Contact adhesive is pretty widespread. Dap makes some, welders, Elmer's I think - you want an apply to both sides, wait 15 minutes and bond permanently type of glue.

The description of uhu por is in line with this type of glue, though I've never used it so I can't testify to its efficacy. I believe some other European guys used it during the drak build (which really didn't require a contact adhesive, but they did), so maybe someone can chime in. Personally, the description of it sounds like it's perfect for this, so if I had to make the decision, I'd go for it.

As far as goop (you can also use beacon foam tac which gives better results than goop, but is more expensive), I've tried every single goop product made, as well as shoe goo, e6000 etc, which are all made by the same company and all have a similar composition. You really won't be disappointed with any of them, but as far as availability, the all purpose or plumbing work just fine. I've never had it yellow on me and have been using it for years now, so I don't think it matters, but if uv resistance was important to you, the goop max II and the goop automotive and RV are the only 2 that are uv resistant. But, like I said, it doesn't yellow, so I just use plumbing or craft (slightly thinner) and it works great.

Welders is great for assembling epp, but don't use it on anything exterior like sealing spars if you're not going to paint it. It dries nicotine stain yellow and looks horrendous against white epp, so if you use it, be careful about overflow. It's not like goop that you can just spread over the foam and forget about.
