TBS Discovery Pro IRC 2.4 VTX No Video

I'm building a new (to me) Disco pro with a Vector and an IRC 2.4 VTX. I have it setup with my RMRC Pro 700 cam wired and powered from the Vector, VTX out of Vector to Cam input of the Disco pro, and the VTX output from the Disco Pro goes to my IRC 2.4 VTX, with the audio, video and ground wires soldered directly to the solder pads of the Disco and powering the VTX directly from the VBATT!! (running 6s lipo) and ground on the solder pads on the other side of the frame (next to VTX2)...

And the problem is that when I plug in the battery to power everything up, I don't get any video signal. But if I simply unplug the 5 pin at the VTX (The latching 5 pin with Audio, Video and Ground) and plug it back in, I get video. But I have to do that anytime the battery is unplugged.

I have tried to search around but haven't found anyone else with this problem. Anybody have this issue before? Am I missing something obvious here?

    the 5v pin is a 5v out!
its desingt for a direct cam connection without a core between!

and on the disco you dont need it. just remove the pin and you should be good to go.

? I'm not sure what 5v pin your talking about? The 5v out pin on the VTX? I'm not using that... Cam is powered from the Vector PSU, VTX is powered directly from VBATT!! solder pads and the core only powers the gimbal/gopro.

so is what your sayin, is that when you power up you have no video? and without doin anything other than pullin the video harness plug from the imrc vtx and pluggin it back in, you get video? WEIRD!! you need to make sure first that the fpv cam and the gopro run on the same video format. either NTSC or PAL. I remember that giving me problems before.

Yes, that's all I have to do.. VERY WEIRD!! I don't even have the GoPro installed right now and it's a GoPro 5 so I can't even use the charge/live out... yet.

ya strange eh? what do you power up first? the quad or your goggles? almost sounds a bit like a video format issue.

    Hi,
this must be a via with loose contact.
Please try to take the video from this point (green marked), it is the same signal, just before the vias

Actually, that was how I had it wired at first, then to make sure that wasn't the issue, I soldered a brand new set of wires to the board and still the same result.

    Hi RiSCyD,
Thanks for the help. I connected the video where you have it circled and still the exact same results as the video... I get video for the first few seconds, then goes away, and I have to flex/press the board to get it come back.
