    EZOSD, no OSD overlay. please help

    Hello,

    i have some problems to get my EZOSD working correctly.
    The main problem is that the OSD shows the Picture of the camera, but doesn’t show the OSD overlay.
    Here is a simple diagram of my setup.
    I have a foxtech transmitter, so i made my own customwire.
    Can someone give me feedback if everything is correct.
    Thank you

    Your diagram looks a little wrong to me, but if you are getting vid from the camera through tx and the vid is going into the EZOSD and coming out on the vid pin, then the only other consideration is are you using the OSD on/off control from tx - is it in the off position ?!

    I've tried watching that video a few times - its impossible to see. Out of focus and moving around too much. Making me ill!
    I wasn't lucky enough to get ezuhf, but is the issue the OSD dissapears when you move the sticks? Thats how it looks. Do you have the OSD control channel slave to another tx channel?

    Yep, sorry without schematic usless:

    Yes when I move the sticks, it disappears at all. And also the Servos and the motor going crazy!

    When I disconnect the RSSI cable from the EZOSD then everything works fine, and I checked the wiring on RSSI more then ten times.

    ISSUE RSSI(1).pdf

    OSD Blanking is on the chanel 8 not used.

    CH1= Throttle
    CH2= Servo right
    CH3= Servo left

    If you use the EzUHF the OSD blanking is handled via the EzBUS, hence no hookup of a spare servo channel is required. However to make it work you need to select which channel is used for blanking in the EzOSD menu and tie that to a switch (I typically use ch5). If you happen to pick the channel that's also used for throttle then obviously the OSD will blank if you move the throttle stick. Just thought I'd mention that in case that isn't obvious.

    No, if no EzUHF is used, you can only use the servo channel input provided on the current sensor to blank the OSD.

    Did you try powering the OSD without the camera connected and then ones you get the OSD display then connect the camera??

    Why did you need to make a custom cable for your Foxtech VTx? Is 12V and the Current Sensor put out 12V (if you use 3S) and 5V for the OSD board?

    Maybe Im missing something here please explain me? Im using also a Foxtwch 200mW 5.8GHz and works OK just with the stock wires that comes with the OSD and VTx.

    Try this works for me. Again connect everything but just leaving the camera disconnected and then if all works just conect the camera.

    Also make sure your video standard NTSC PAL??? Maybe this has nothing to do but if you connect the OSD without having a video signal runs to PAL auto.
