Nice! I almost bought the tango... but the simple lack of features like a dvr.... diversity....easy swapping of receiver antenna's..stepped me back of purchasing one. Hopefully TBS will come out with a V2 in the near feature..

If V2 comes out (that is if it will at all) with at least 7" then I'll think about it, but that 4.2in screen is good only for configuring the radio, not FPV...
If you're a noob, copy 1:1 what somebody already flies without too much questions, you'll find the answers later.
PatrikE: I don't see anything wrong in your dump...

you are flying it LOS... You are doing it wrong.

I knew i couldnt have been the only one with this idea!
Gonna get one of those Eachine DVR's; they look simple enough to pry open.
@roboforcer; i strongly disagree with you. I think this 4.2 in gets the job done - but no doubt 7in would be AWESOME

Hi, this is great, can we connect also a 3mm jack for googles to the DVR? or we need to install a split video cable

    Hello,
Thank you for the info. Can you (anyone) be specific as to which wires from the Ethernet cable connect to the DVR, please. The schmatic is not clear to me and I don't want to fry anything. I have the Eachine ProDVR. Thank you.

Hi, This is perfect; I'd like to do the same thing. Can you give clearer schematics or directions, please? I'm just beginning to fly DYI to make acro videos and not that experienced yet. Hence my buying Tango without realizing no DVR. I have Glyphs that I use with other drones for cinematic photography but can't really use them with Tango without a piece of hardware that costs about 300 bucks so I bought Eachine EV800D goggles for the Vendetta and quads I plan to build in future. I'd really like to be able to build the DVR mod just as you've done. Thank you.
