Thread: Powercube FPVision

Howdi... just curious if the fpvision hardware would work with kiss ? Im mostly interested in the OSD / cam settings changing pids etc.. i currently use smart audio for changing pids with the unify but i like the idea of adjusting cam settings at the field through osd.. just looking for some advice before spending the cash..

Yes. Use the TBS micro receiver and you can connect to the FPVision via the BST cable. This will allow you to use TBS OSD and change pids on the KISS. Awesome set up. Also will work with the Kiss V2 FC.

    Question UBLOX GPS with FPVision

I have a uBlox M8N GPS hooked up to an F4 board with crossfire receiver and FPVision. GPS info is available in crossfire telemetry however it does not show up on the TBS Core PRO OSD. (OSD setting is configured to show heading, etc).

Has anyone been able to get this to work, using a 3rd party GPS?

    Thanks

You need a least a GPS with I2C-Out, and connect it to BST.
Yes, this is the only read downside - I refuse to use two GPS on one Wing. At least it's possible to use the TBS Puck GPS for iNav. No no 3rd party, but at least not two...

In theory the gps data is in the crsf frame but i noticed that inav don't support all the tbs goodness.

Have you tested the i2c option with a free gps and the bst?

Not yet, ordered two 3rd party GPS with I2C and UART, I hope they will arrive this week
The weird part is, the Crossfire TX shows GPS coordinates from a GPS, connected by UART directly to a Omnibus F4, which is again connected by CRSF and UART3 to a Crossfire Micro.
So in general, everything required is there. I just don't get it why the Crossfire Micro can take the information, but not the FPVision OSD. I guess this is above the usual OSI Layers, might be a Layer 8 Problem (financial layer)
