Thank you for the response Trappy. I don't have an android phone, will have to search for someone that does.

Just received my tbs race tracker yesterday. I started charging it around 6pm yesterday. As of this post (over 24hrs later) it is not charged and will not turn on.
The only thing I get is a slow blinking red light. See the link to the video below. Over the course of the 24 hours I have tried 5 different usb cables. Same result with each cable.
I've also tried charging with the case off. Thinking that maybe the usb connector was not all the way in. But that was not the case. Any thoughts?

Here is the video of what it's been doing over the past 24 hours......

Well at least you are getting a light! I just opened up a brand new RaceTracker that I ordered on amazon and its completely bricked.

Won't charge, won't power on, and I know the Micro USB cable I'm using to charge it is functional.

I opened up a ticket with their support, we'll see what happens.

Seeing all of the problems in this thread doesn't exactly make me confident in TBS either :\

Their sponsored pilots I met this summer were really cool guys too which makes me even more disappointed about this.

UPDATE: The RaceTracker has been plugged in for about 5 hours straight now and FINALLY I've got a red light so it appears to be charging!

Maybe a friendly tip with this product: Remove the Donald Rumsfeld quote from the box (he's a borderline war criminal IMHO) and replace it with a note to let the device charge for 6 hours...

Any updates on how to get out of bootloader mode? Update failed and now cant connect to it through bluetooth.I even disconnected the battery for about 5 minutes.I can turn it off and on but always comes back to the purple flashing light
Most of the money I made this year I spent on FPV,the rest I just wasted.

try unpairing your phone from your bluetooth menu. alternatively try another android phone. once the update is complete you should have no problems pairing it with any phone.

I did unpair it now it doesn't show up when I searched for Bluetooth devices. I even tried discovering it with my iPhone as well and didn't show up. Will try with another Android device tonight. Currently left powered on to try and completely drain and reset.

Is there ANY other way to fix this bootloader issue? I only know one person with an Android phone and after many hours of trying to get it to work had to give him his phone back. By the way, his phone was on v.7 (Nouget) and from what I've read, it has to be on v.6 (Marshmallow) for this to work. I was unable to get his phone downgraded.

Surely there must be some other way? Just curious - why didn't you just include the Tracker in the TBS Agent software? That software works great for the Crossfire I just bought.

TBS support (Sheng) told me that I need to connect the tracker to an android phone running Android v.6 (marshmallow) in order to resume the firmware update. Unfortunately the only android phone I have access to is running v.7 (Nougat) and Iím unable to downgrade it. Until I find some sort of solution my racetracker is bricked!
