I've had mines a good while. It's the first gimbaled quad that I've actually enjoyed using. Works great, flies well, software so far has been on point for the most part. The best part is it's compact size. The best camera is the one you have with you and this one you can actually have with you all the time.

I've had the Mavic for about a month now and I gotta say....The hype is justified. It can't claim to have the same IQ as a P4 Pro or an Inspire but what it lacks there it more than makes up for in every other way. IQ is pretty damn good too. This is the first flying thing I've ever bought assembled, I've built all my other quads and planes. Most all of them FPV equipped, many with UHF. In other words...I've flown plenty of things for many years and a few of them at very long range.
The Mavic easily flys better than any rotorcraft I've had so far. Miles of range out of the box, 20+min flights, and all the smarts you could ask for. It's agile, it's fast, it's tiny when folded. The list of awesome is long, the force is strong with this one.

Is that a drouuune!?
Does anyone know how the hell this thing can fly out 3 miles and still deliver 720p-ish live video with just a rubber ducky omni antenna on the controller? If this was my 5.8Ghz setup it'd be NTSC and I'd be needing a directional antenna. Just curious if anyone knows how the physics play out.

The video system on the Mavic is amazing. I fly behind buildings and trees easily. You can notice the lag, but its not too bad for a photography drone. If you gain some altitude you can go further than the battery lasts probably

Yes, we need IBCrazy in here to lecture us how this 'magvic works'
