Building the worlds fastest fpv plane

This will be my build log, for a very fast fixed wing aircraft.
The aircraft will be hollow moulded from composites. The plug will be constructed from plywood, balsa and fiberglass/resin. This is my first composite build, so I have to learn as I build. Found a lot of good resources over at RCGROUPS and Youtube. Also found a Swedish supplier of all the materials and tools I will need. Don't hold your breath guys.... This will be a long build.

    -Wingspan 700mm
-Length undetermined yet, but somewhere around 800-950mm
    -2x3cell 3000mah high c-rating in parallel
-Motor Lepard LBP2860-2550KV-4D brushless inn runner (edf motor)
    -Esc Yep 120A
-Prop 4,7x4,7-5x5. Size can be gradually increased until motor burns
-Video 400mw 1,3 ghz and 1,3ghz dragonlink dipole
    -Dragonlink V2
    -Eagle tree Vector mini
    -Flight camera and Runcam2
    -AUW around 1500g

Today I started work on the plug. Its a difficult one because of the thinness of the wings. It will be difficult to get them stiff and straight enough. This is the
    progress so far:

Have a hypothetical range on the speed on this rocket? Tried something of the like on a Diamond dust after the OS40 vrp was worn out, just haven't worked out the electric power setup that works for the small wing yet.

The speed with a sensible prop will be around 260 kmh. With a tailwind and bad over propping, the world record of 360 kmh might be within reach. Initially, I will not pursue the record. I rather get some real flight experience with it.

The purpose of this plane is to fly fast and low with a Runcam2 camera. All other really fast fpv planes have been Funjet ultras with flight cameras only. Impressive planes indeed, but with no value as recording platforms (because they don't carry HD cameras).

Should have a similar experience I had with the Stryker when I flew it out of my cockpit trailer, very fast and a heck of a lot of fun. Hope to see it all come together and an awesome first flight, best of luck on the project.

Thanks bro:-) IIts a huge challenge as I am new to building in composites. I believe I will pull it of though.

Got some more work done on the plug:

Started removing large amounts of balsa. When I was done tapering the trailing edges, and the wingtips I had enough shavings to fill a bathtub. Felt like a human CNC machine.

    Thanks for following my build:-)

Most of the trailing edge and wingtip tapering is done. The edges are a little more than 1mm. I need to get them down to about 0.5 mm, but I will do this last, as they will become a bit brittle. Next I will do leading edges and nose.

I am planning to use 2 of these graphene 65c batteries in series. Do anyone know if they are any good?http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...arehouse_.html
