A Good FPV Friend

A good FPV friend lands his plane right next to yours after a crash and goes for the walk with you.

Backstory:

Was out yesterday doing some Swift II tandem. I believe I lost my antenna mast at 3/4 mile out and subsequently locked out. Traderdmb was following and had video of the entire incident. He circled twice - reported that the plane looked in one piece - then decided that he was going to land right next to it. "If I'm going to take a walk anyway - I might as well land my plane where we're going."

Walk of shame sucks balls - but it's always a bit better when someone else is along for the ride.

Plane got pretty banged up - but it pretty much back together. I still need to determine if the camera survived the impact.

Either that or circle over head looking for thieves. Dive bomb them if they attempt to grab the plane.

All kidding aside, that was a very cool thing to do.

I always help a fellow FPV'er out when thier plane goes down. It just feels right. Search for a missing part, find a plane, you just have to help a buddy out when they are in need. I would hope someone would help me if I were in need!
