Crossfire outputing SBUS and MAVLINK at same time to work with Tarot?

I have just got in my Tarot T4-3d Gimbal and updated the firmware on it that allows pan control. In order to get the full control of the gimbal it requires an SBUS connection. Currently on the Diversity receiver I am running my pixhawk with its mavlink connection through the telemetry. This dedicates output 7&8 on the receiver for connection to the FC. Unfortunately it looks like only output 8 can be set for SBUS output. So it looks like I will have to limit the gimbal to just tilt functions using standard 2 channel operation. Anyone with a slick work around for this? Otherwise whats the best way to suggest a firmware change allowing another pin to output SBUS?

(I figure I could probably enable the internal Rf in the taranis and run another receiver just for the gimbal but that is weight, power, and clutter so I don't want to go that route.)

Did you ever get this probelm figured out? I am currently on a similar mission with a diversity pixhawk2.1 setup trying to control a Gremsy Gimbal.
