FPV BlackBox Flight Recorder MPEG4 PVR - CarbonBird - for SD SDHC Cards

Found while searching the multiWii.com site and in stock...

    Have ordered this http://www.multiwiicopter.com/produc...4-pvr-for-sdhc

Appears to be of similar type as FVP-Japan - has 2 batteries as standard and cheaper ??
Emailed multiwiicopter.com for the manual, will try to upload it.
Cant do, the file is 2.29mb.. Have emailed them for the link to it..
    Cheers

Nice.. so who wants to be a guinea pig to drop the cash for a unit to post up what the recorded video quality looks like? =]
Far better is it to dare mighty things, even though checkered by failure; than to take rank with those who neither enjoy much or suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.

Looks pretty good if you can remove the date and time stamp, which the instructions suggest you can.

EDIT - actually given its behind the OSD that time is clearly coming from the GoPro so ignore me.

I might pick one of these up since they are actually in stock vs the Japan-FPV one.

    Just ordered one...

Needed a good recorder and this one seems to have it all, including a good instruction manual! The FPV-Japan one has been out of stock for ages so I decided to pull the trigger on this.

I'll post impressions when I get a chance.

I have one. I like it. It is the same as the FPV-Japan DVR.

The instant record button is a great feature. And the vibration when it looses signal is cool too.

    It's a great little unit...

Having played with it quite a bit now I can definitely recommend it.
