how to do super slow mo?

There's a piece of software out there called "Twixtor" for doing super slow motion shots. Basically it blends individual frames together to get an artificial slow motion effect. The problem is, it's pricey, and I'd also need something like Final Cut which is also $.

Does anyone know of a cheaper alternative to getting into the 1000 fps realm (artificially)? Having a Hero2 that shoots at 120 helps but I want to go SLOWER!

    example:
shot at 60 fps, slowed down to 2% but it's still smooth!

if software is too expensive for you you do not have to pay for it. that's all I will say at this point, I don't want to go into how to crack software that's for other forums to tell you.

Understand. I may or may not have considered that.

Hey Trappy. Like your approach. Just ordered the Lawmate PV500 from the store. Since I think it is to expensive I won't be paying for it since I like your approach for paying for software so that should apply to the goods you sell. And since I love your videos I posted some of them on my website and took full credit for creating them... Only kidding and hope you were to...

Not a cheap alternative, but does slowmotion in camera up to 1000fps, but at reduced resolution the slower you go.

    Here's mine @ 300fps... the Casio EX-F1:

In general good slow motion at high resolution is never cheap. Motion has a feature commonly seen in videos that will slow stuff down very slow.

Nice vid, is that your dog? It looks like a lhasa. We had one of those when we were kids (younger than I am now anyway). Really great dogs even if they are small.
