    Crossfire + Pixhawk

Is anyone out there flying 3DR Pixhawk with crossfire diversity receiver? Trappy it would be good if you could provide a tutorial or some basic steps to get that going. The only thing out there right now is this article which is incomplete or not pertaining to using crossfire with Pixhawk

    https://pixhawk.org/peripherals/telemetry/crossfire

    Any help would be appreciated!

Forget about that link. You don't need that cable.

Have a look at page 21f, Section "Mavlink" of the current TBS crossfire manual:
    http://www.team-blacksheep.com/tbs-c...pdf?reloadthat

However you need Crossfire V1.20 for that, which has a known bug. But that will soon be fixed, and for testing connetivity of the mavlink bridge, V1.20 should be OK. (note that Telemetry will not work with V1.21)

Is there a wiring diagram? I have no clue how to get receiver signal off of diversity rx to pixhawk the user manual you sent explains telemetry connection. It's not clear if that allows me to control my plane from radio or not.

I'd actually like to fly Pixhawk with my 9xr and have telemetry. I guessing not sure if mavlink is something similar to PPM? Will it allow me to control as well?

    Thanks for your help

    Couple other things:

    1. I also noticed that 1.20 is not available in the agent?
    2. What is the point of the factory shipped BST cable if it does not fit anything (cc3d, pixhawk telem port etc) ???

I am running 1.9 on the TX and 1.09 on the RX

    The TBS manual says:
Set port 8 on the diversity rx to mavlink TX.
Set port 7 to mavlink rx.

On my setup I connect the signal pin from 8 to rx on serial 2 on my pixhawk lite, then pin 7 to serial 2 rx on the pixhawk.

Settings for serial 2 on the pixhawk I believe are just 57600.

Link my tablet to the Crossfire via BT.

I can then use the Crossfire like it is a radio modem or Bluetooth connection and do anything like auto land, calibrate etc inside mission planner.

This was all with 1.2 before it was pulled.

Just gotta wait now for the fixed release with mavlink telemetry and it will be great.

Crossfire FW 1.20 has beta status. You need to hit F1 inside TBS agent to activate beta downloads.
Mavlink allows for control as well, that's the way I use it in my plane. No PPM cable is required any more.

Perna posted a picture of the wiring here:

dmpriso, I'm interested to know what serial settings (SR{1/2}_*) you have as I understand there is a balance between the regularity of updates and the available resources.

    TIA.

I've set up the serial settings as described on page 5 of the TBS Blackbox manual:
    http://www.team-blacksheep.com/tbs-blackbox-manual.pdf

This is because I've used the Blackbox as Mavlink->BST bridge before. However I've now pulled out the blackbox and I don't know if all of those settings are still required for the setup.

    Thanks dmpriso.

The reason I'm hesitating on those settings is that they're for a telemetry bridge rather than realtime control. I'm assuming it may be wise to de-prioritise some sensors whilst increasing the control-related updates as the bandwidth available isn't infinite.

Hi dmpriso, could you say me how to obtain v1.2? No matter the bug, I don't want to wait until 1.21 release

    >>> Press F1 and then you can obtain beta firmware, there is v1.2 and v1.23
