AUW is going to be around 1200-1300g, I wonder if that's going to be too heavy. The motor puts out about 1100g full throttle. Maybe I just need a bigger motor? We'll see. I am still figuring out how to mount the vtx so it will be completely modular, after that it's maiden time.

Should be ok, mine was around 1250g when we met up a few weeks ago. Just give it a good chuck with plenty of throttle on launch.
That is almoust 1:1 thrust to weight ratio. That is sport performance. Not bad.

I am wondering if we should go in together on a bungee launch platform? Try to have it done for the meet. Beats hand tossing.
SecretSpy (Brian) has one. It's pretty small for our wings, though. A bungee would definitely be cool otherwise I'll toss you off if you toss me off!

I am a little gun shy after my first FPV toss with my Sky Surfer nose dived into the dirt ejecting my camera pod 10 ft.
