LOL< well cool, I'm bored at HOME tonight and think I'll go ahead with the GoPro case mount and get this Z2 ready to fly.

My wife always says the Cat's not suppose to be dried in the Microwave, I always respond with, "what do you know woman?". Then again, Im not a fan of cats so that may have something to do with it. Already responded in the ZII thread but great work Trappy/Tim, waiting on mine to arrive.

great work guys. pity the side of the connections are on the same side as the lens as it would be great to have the fpv camera on the other side. Still you design around what you have and this looks like a bloody nice idea. how much does it weight all up?

it's really light, maybe 20 grams. GoPro is between 50 and 80 grams depending if you add a battery. FPV camera another 45 grams. The ZII is still tail heavy with that and the ZII Bay by about 60 grams. could have built it stronger

I've got mine glued up, and have the nose cut to where it looks like it should be.

    I'm using the skids.

You guys recommend gorilla glue to put this on?

    That's a good question
    Trappy?
But Gorilla is probably fine to mount the ply case to the ZII.

I would submit that I havent found a bad use for UHU POR as of yet. I would think that the properties of this glue would add to the reduction of vibrations in the video. Then again, I still have much to learn.

Sorry man, missed that question. Yes, Gorilla is good. What I do is I attach the case first with some CA glue. and then squirt gorilla and water into the cracks. Gorilla is pretty good to dampen vibration since it's solid and heavy. Be sure to apply tape to the bottom of all the cracks otherwise the gorilla is just going to run out the other end.
