Which ESC were you flying (make/model/amps)?

    Tim PM Sent.

Trappy I'll do up a video tonight when I get home and exclude the fire part - I wish I had an SD card in my FPV Japan DVR but I haven't had time to go pick one up - battery just came for it yesterday.
Would have been nice to capture OSD info.

If a plane (aka Airframe) cannot handle THAT flight, even once, it's not worthy.

The Z2 w/TBS Battery tray is worthy!

Now to correct the electronics issues and get a dozen flights on her so I can start long range flying.

    Guys,
Can someone share how much the TBS Battery bay weighs ? I was planning to make a similar one, but 6mm birch ply seems to make it pretty heavy...

    Thanks !

If you wanted SUPER durability to protect you from nose in crashes you could extend the battery tray sides to also be the sides of the camera box. This would protect the cameras from stampedeing batteries in a nose in crash, and sort of hold the cam box really on there. It would be sort of like chris's coroplast skids, but stronger and inside the fuselage. It would add weight though and you would have to cut up the front to fit the thing in there. Just an IDEA

Comon 85mph? That's tame. That's not even a dive that's level flight. I got 120mph outa my Z2 yesterday. But you shouldn't listen to me, my first one exploded in a dive from 1200meters up.
