Apparently epoxy doesn't bond to the Z2 foam.

it does. Epoxy is brittle, though. Areas that will often take hits will eventually let go with Epoxy. that's why you use Epoxy only for places that need extra-strong hold and don't get many beatings.

Ah -- that makes sense. Thanks for your guidance on that!

Epoxy: the shorter curing and especially the cheap epoxies are typically very brittle. The long curing (like 30 minute) epoxy of good quality are more flexible/tough after they cure -- like the BSI 30 minute epoxy is not as brittle.

    Not any more.

This is the cat's meow for the Zephyr guys -

Edit: Had to dremmel some extra gorilla glue out from the previous repairs - I love my Dremmel...

Hi -- Is it ok if I use your photos on the GetFPV product description page for the battery bay?

So everything is tucked away, although it would be far easier to do this on a NEW plane I did what I could do....
The TBS battery tray really is awesome.

I have to relam some area's and then re-balance the plane..not perfect but flyable for sure, it won't win any beauty contests..

Also have to fill some gaps where the skids used to be with gorilla glue, it does wonders for filling...

Looking good Scotttu, you did what you could waiting for the verdict on how it flies. as CK always says ... "The second Zephyr always flies better than the first one"
