So I created my FUFAA Quad:

160 Frame with 1306 3100kv motors, 12A blheli, 4 inch BL props, UHF and 1.3 video.

Total flying weight 249 grams with pz0420-L24!
Excellent work, FPV Flyer! Love the FUFAA name. Gotta stick it to the man. Just wish that keeping it below 250g would exempt it from all US regulations and restrictions, not only FAA registration.

Impressive that you managed to squeeze in a decent camera, fat BN props, and a 3S 1000mAh graphene LiPo, all below the 250g threshold. Not to mention UHF and 1.3Ghz video, of course. Plus you used an inexpensive Chinese frame, not some fancy custom ultralight kit. Kudos!

I am in process of putting together a Hellbender 122, I anticipate a lot of FUFAA's being built today!

You need some decals like this to go along with the name.

Unless something changed in the past couple of months, this is all the FAA. No new laws have been passed. They decided to completely change their long standing interpretation of existing laws.and are actually ignoring a congressional ruling about model aircraft.

    Has anyone mentioned flight/hover time?
And, how far do you get w/ that video tx? I've got one and only get about 200 meters.. but that's through a couple of houses and some trees. But I do have a biquad directional receiver antenna.... I recently received a different 200mw tx, and haven't gotten a chance to try it yet.
