Thread: TBS VENDETTA

  1. #1451
Do someone try to put Amimon Connex ProSight into a vendetta? Is it even possible?

I've design a new robust Mobius/RunCam tilt platform for the TBS VENDETTA. Multiple models are available with tilt angle from 20 to 40. It has tabs/stubs that installs on top of the Vendetta and straps/cable ties secures it to the frame. 3D-printed.

And, I've modified the official front bumper to work with wider lenses, e.g. 2.5mm.

Doesn't sound like you would be releasing the digital files on thingiverse or the like. Would you? I would like to add on to your designs (as a 3d developer /printer myself). I have never once charged for any of the pieces I designed for my Vendetta ... maybe I should have...

ryaske, the majority just want the item all printed and ready to go, but if you like the design files I've added them to my thingiverse designs: http://www.thingiverse.com/ivc/designs

Thank you ivc! Glad to see the sharing spirit shared lol

Maybe I should start offering my designs in printed form as well. If I offer the files ANd the printed parts, its not like im trying to make money, im trying to help anyone that prefers to receive it printed And maybe could get some beer money in the process

Are you selling many of your designs?

I made another tutorial about updating the Vendetta CORE, Colibri Flight controller and Betaflight Setup plus some extra. As detailed as possible:

    0:04 Open the TBS Vendetta
0:26 Download & Install the TBS Agent firmware update software
    0:51 Update the TBS Core
1:40 Update the TBS Colibri flight controller
2:13 Install Betaflight Configurator App. Chrome required
2:54 Connect to betaflight and finish the Colibri update by resetting the settings
3:18 Configure the correct port and receiver settings, X4R in this video
3:59 Quick overview of the Betaflight Settings
4:54 Check the PIDs and Rates
5:18 Set the receiver settings and assign the switches, flight modes, beeper etc.
    13:18 Re-assemble the TBS Vendetta
    13:45 Check the motor rotation
14:56 Secure the antenna with zip tie and heat shrink tubes

Has anyone had problems with Unify Pro not showing at boot time, and then not having any VTX control options in the OSD?

I've hit this problem twice now. The first time I worked with a buddy who has an inside contact with Trappy and Oliver... Oliver said we should update firmware in Colibri and Core Pro. After doing that, I'm now on betaflight. It worked fine for a while, but suddenly (no other changes) .. it's happening again.

It's not every single power up, but almost all of them. If I pull power and reboot a few times, I can usually get Unify to show up again. Its very frustrating because I have no control of VTX power or anything when it happens .. makes for some awkward moments in the field if I need to change channels.

    Hi Ryaske.
    1. Do you have the correct betaflight firmware ? The best way is to flash your colibri FC via the TBS agent and select one of the "VENDETTA" firmware in the menu. Could you try version BF 2.9.1 in the TBS agent?
THEN, after flashing to 2.9.1 don't forget to hit reset button and save in BF. That's the way to reload the parameters with all the pre-set (PIDS, etc)
    2. What CorePro and Colibri firmware versiond you have ?

Please check my video if you need assistance to install the firmware and set the stuff in BF, everything is explained:

    Let me know

also check that your cable frome the core to the vtx isn`t broken.
sometimes they look ok but a wire is broken.
