    Really tempted by the mini drak, love the look of it and that you can take it apart for storage is a massive bonus.

    I'd really like to make it into a semi long range setup - hopefully with something upto 30mins flight time, does this sound possible on this air frame?

    Lol ok let's get this straight you want a 40-inch aircraft that can fly for over an hour. I will work on a long range setup, will see how it goes.

    No. Nothing that long. Just enough to do some half decent long distance. Maybe cover a 15k run cruising? Or am I really thinking this wrong?

    I would think that the recipe for longer range on all fixed wing aircraft is a big battery, big propeller, and a smallish low kv motor.

    I bought some 6 s 2650 + 3300 + 3000 to do some testing on some crazy efficient Motors. I will let you know how it goes

    At 80 km/hr for 15 minutes, you could fly cumulative distance of 20km.
