    Whats the problem?
When the Governments can't Control or Regulate it ALWAYS becomes illegal.
400' Alt rule does not apply. I did FPV long before it was called FPV.
I find the closer to the ground I get my chances of crashing increases .

Looks like some bored cops harassing an RC club because of FAA over reach.

Love the "drones are going to ruin the hobby" comment.

No kidding. Reminds me of the older fellas at the local RC airfield. Super fun and welcoming bunch to be around... if you ONLY like flying nitro powered WW2 planes in circles.

That's OCSO, they should have sent their own drone up and then shot the intruding drone down. ;-)

How is it they can enforce the FAA registration card when officially the date for anyone with an existing UAS aircraft is February 19th? Is the local law enforcement actually that ignorant? or are they just really testing what the UAS owner knows?

What does the video have to do with registration?

Did you not hear in video 2 that the sheriff was checking cards? Maybe I was hearing things wrong, or it's just the guy with the camera really BS'ing the other guy...

Listen carefully and follow the time line, while the to guys closer to the helo are talking to the Deputy, the guys in the background not knowing what is going on, where joking about checking cards, one guy comments that is not until the 21st and the other comments back, "there is a local ordinance requiring them," the only problem is no such ordinance has been enacted in Orange County Florida.
