    Help setting up my ImmersionRC TX please

    Hi Guys,

    I need some very basic help - I bought the Fatshark Preds googles with inbuilt RX and needed to get an IRC but they were sold out so found one in Ebay.

    1) Now I dont know what connecters to solder on or even what they do. I guess the red and black one is for the power ? can i solder a deans on to that and if im correct, how big ? 3s ?

    2) what are the white and yellows connecters for and again, what connecter do i use ?

    3) I bought Eagle Tree EVERYTHING aswell

    Many thanks

    If you have trouble setting up our Vtx when you bought Eagletree EVERYTHING you have a loooong way to go still.

    See the silver bit on the sticker of the vtx, it shows you what each are for

    It sounds like you don't have a clue, I'd do some basic learning first before committing to doing the wires or its going to end tears

    The VTX is the last thing in the line apart from the antenna so wire up all your other gear and once you have that sorted then the VTX will be self explanatory. Unless you are setting up a camera and vtx without your eagle tree stuff and then you can connect the correct voltage to your camera and the video out of your camera to the yellow on the vtx and the audio wire from your camera, if it has one, goes to the white one and 2S to 4S for the VTX.
    I could be wrong though so it might pay to ask someone who has done it before though to be sure.

    you want help? read the label. the black writing on the silver part of the tx.

    GND = the negative battery terminal
    BATT = the + battery terminal.

    input 6 - 16v = 2s to 4s power

    VID = usually yellow. connect to camera signal.
    GND = ground wire from camera
    5v OUT = to powerthe camera if it is a 5v one

    AUDL = the left audio
    AUDR = right audio

    the big gold screw on bit is for an antenna. make sure it is the correct frequency antenna

    please do not use deans or any other extra connectors, just solder it so it cannot come loose.

    sorry if we seem rude but it is equally rude coming in here without trying to find shit out yourself, expecting people to help you when it seems you dont really care to help yourself is a bit rich.

    As much as I agree with him needing to learn some basics the way he was treated and the tone was pretty harsh. I remember being a beginner and getting some help, enough to get me pointed in the right direction.
    There might have been a nicer way to put things.
