No COG problems here, plane flies beautifully.
How long have you been flying your Raptor?
Only a matter of time until you find out![]()
I just picked up on the Cupid Stunt thinglol very funny....
Here was my first ever launch of the Raptor
Nobody told me then that launches were hard so not knowing any different it turned out really easy, no harder than my Skysurfer or any of my other planes
All bog standard inc CG, all control surfaces set to exactly flat and level, no trim no radio mixes, well nothing at all really, not even a running throw, just my weedy little arm throw:

Ah Yes, the cliffs near Great Tor make for spectacular sceanery
Nice. My Raptor would always nose a bit on my throws. Always had to give it a little up trim. Not sure why, I think it may have been the motor mount. That thing was awfully loose and the motor moved when throttle was applied. I suggest you guys mod your motor mount soon as you can as repeated flights will slowly wear that thing out and you'll start noticing your Raptors not fly like it use to. My old Raptor has since been retired, but I do remember it fondly.
Ali reviews the new upgraded Raptor EX. Stock motor has been upgraded, larger (folding) prop, and they finally addressed the motor angle problem.

Never heard of a motor angle problem, though tilting it towards the CG line is good because the thrust line will be better AND it leaves room for the larger prop
Still the same wing design though so it'l be prone to tip stalling just as easily and no mention of an improved canopy fixing method
