Am I seeing things correctly? 12A launch, and 8A cruise???
Get me a Crocodile sandwich. And make it snappy.

That was just on the test flight, won't put that much throttle into the launch again. Part of the problem was that it was close to being tail heavy, made a heck of a difference when moved forward about 1/4".

After todays flight, i only had to launch with no throttle then set 6.5 to 8 A to get it to cruise and gain altitude, it would maintain altitude at around 4.5 A. Got a video coming up shortly of the new test flight, even launched in the stability mode on the second flight.

Finally got done compiling. I forgot to bring out the cp omnidirectional antenna and had to use the 8 Dbi patch without the helper. Didn't want to use the goggles during the initial testing anyways, for next flying session. This big wing is going to be great for getting some endurance flights since it can hold altitude at around 4 - 5A. Climbs at a decent rate at around 6.5 - 9A. The other video coming shows me throwing the wing around trying to get it to get out of control with no luck, just straightens right out. The pitch is a bit wierd, where it seems to pulse up and down in minor increments but went away when launching in the stability mode.

Will get the other video up when the other computer can just run long enough with out getting the bluescreenodeath.

Looks like the Klingberg is not going to be flying so much anymore. After putting a couple hours of flight time, i had experienced atleast 5 different times where the wing has a stall speed of around 30Kph and immediately goes into a left hand stall and spin, sometimes due to the stabilizer but more so if i tried to fly it with out the stabilizer. The first encounter was the video showing it doing the wing over on hand launch. Apparently this would happen if the stick was pulled back too hard, even just pulsing the stick for a second. The next time was when the micro servo was stripped and locked the surface up but was in a flat spin allowing it to soft land on the belly. The last time, yesterday was when the battery reached the cutoff on the motor and too low, the stabilizer was keeping it from turning around till it went into a stall, spin and straight in on the pavement.

I did get the chance to get it up to around 70Kph and noticed that it would oscillate up and down more as the speed went up. Turned down the gyro compensation but didn't seem to help. Didn't try turning of the stability to see if it would have changed the dynamics of the higher speeds.

The video will get posted for the final flight and make a separate video showing the conditions that caused it to stall on all three occurances.

Dam glad i record each flight.

Still trying to get the computer for video conversion to work again, it's still protesting to get past the startup screen.

I had one of those kits partially framed up from 20 years ago. I recently finished it converting it to electric and tried to fly it. No luck.

I put about a 150W 1200kV motor with a 9x6 folding prop set up in pusher.

I was going to try a 1300mAH 3s but that wasn't near enough weight up front to get the CG in the correct spot. I tried a 2200mAH 3S and still not enough. Somewhere around 120g in the nose would get it close but I figured I was going to do that, I might as well put two 2200mAH 3S in it. That kinda balanced but then it came out heavy.

I could not get the thing to launch. I had to toss and then throttle up or I'd take my arm off. Not enough airspeed from the toss for stability and I could not hit the throttle near quick enough. I thought I might have 1/2 a chance to climb out real slow if I could have the throttle full I when I tossed but there is no way to do that.

Unless I can get the motor further forward so I could reduce weight I don't think the thing will be flyable.
