Congrats:-) Goop works very well on EPP, but will require longer time to harden.

Any alternatives to Welders Adhesive ? would GOOP be an equivelant ?

I have used it for some EPP planes without issues

Goop, foamtac, all valid...but it comes with Welders included

I should order it directly from VAS/SBA.. maybe that way the welders glue would come with the kit, RMRC has always been my go to and the shipping is usually cheaper, however they have a note saying they remove the welders glue for for international orders. ( must be a dangerous goods item)

I have bought 3 VAS planes (1 from RMRC and 2 from StoneBlue), and they never removed the glue, as they were supposed to. Not complaining though

I received my package from RMRC , glue was taken out as promised (all good they're just following the rules) lots of goop on hand so thats not an issue. I will say they threw in some laminate free of charge Thanks !
But only 2 spar's were in the box I'm short on the little 8" pieces you cut up from the third spar to reinforce the banshee's booms

Hopefully I can scrounge up some 8" cutoff's from old builds, worst comes to worst I will cannibalize a crashed ZII for some spars thats currently hanging in my garage as a memory

I have to say I am absolutely loving my Banshee. I think it supersedes the fun i have flying quads. Every time i go to the field i am running 4-5 packs thru it.

It looks like one of my booms is bigger or smaller then the other. Can anyone confirm the width ? I have one that measures 7/8" and one that is over 1 1/8

I wonder how it would affect the flight if one is bigger then the other

    Edit*

Alex kindly reached out and offered replacements. Thanks !

I just measured mine. They were close to 7/8. The difference wont have any noticeable effect on flight whatsoever. Because I am a rather obsessive, I would shave down the thickest one with a long sanding block and 40 grit sandpaper to match the thinnest one. It will only take a minute, and you will feel better about it.
