hahaha, that was crazy. Kudos to dadde for not dropping it into the falls! Amazing.

Niagra Falls is a place you never forget. I was there 4 years ago, and I remember all the landmarks, parking spots, everything like it was just yesterday. Great vid. Too bad Dadde doesnt post here.
Get me a Crocodile sandwich. And make it snappy.

he is too busy with other stuff. he has his own forums on his blog that he barely attends to. he is very talented and creative, but he rarely posts replies.

fair enough i suppose, i think it is more of a job to him these days than a hobby.

Not only is David a fantastic FPV and LOS pilot, he's also a super nice guy and understands what it means to be a mentor to others -- including myself. As a true mentor, he is always polite, positive, and helpful -- a skill not all of our hobby's mentors have mastered. I frequently check his site for new posts and have learned a lot from him. The fpvmanuals Pro Tricopter Delrin Kit is largely based on David's folding tricopter design and I am happy and honored that David is now flying it.

I was amazed at how stable it was considering the wind blew over his antenna tripod. The rotors around the falls can be nasty due to the tall hotels just up stream.

    It was an amazing flight!

Yeah I think David is awesome! His site and build log on the V1 tricopter is my reason for trying out a tricopter... I haven't built/flown an airplane since (maybe this summer). I'm on my V5.5 tricopter but it still has elements from David's designs. Oh and the build logs on the cloverleaf and skew-planar antennas... sure ibcrazy designed them but it was David's helpful instructions and pictures that really made it easy enough for me to give it a go! I always look forward to more guides and build logs from him! Hopefully someday he's not so busy and can join fpvlab.
