I had large throws because the wing was for sport flying. I have to imagine that the ZII and other larger wings were designed for speed and stability using smaller throws. I was only flying with 1300mah 3S batteries, not a whole lot of run time on those with the camera.

Haha yeah I like to fly smoothly so small throws help. This thing is easy to chuck around though. It probably rolls slower than it should but I don't care about that because I don't wanna make myself dizzy lol. Besides, I'd rather have better control resolution 99% of the time than having big throws for the 1% of the times I'd need it.

^^Snarky, well yeah if you want to do aerobatics then you should have more throws but at the same time if they're moving too much to be useful/controllable then it's too much.

Until I get a better control system I'm not going for distance. Local fields where I can turn and burn are what I'll play with until I go UHF. Still a few things to do before that, number one being HAM license.

Same as me - thinking about getting ezUHF, feels kinda expensive for my pockets now.

Thats 0.67x wide angle lens. That time there was no 808 #16v2 with D lens, so I build it myself.
