Education curriculum for inner city kids?

Hi all.... sorry first post here, longtime RC groups dude.

I'm a pediatrician/educator/hobbyist and longtime RCGroups member, and am cooking up some after school enrichment programs for kids in our local public schools. I'm interested in pulling a diverse inner city crowd into this hobby as a route towards hands-on craft / science / technology education. This hobbyist mentality is sorely missing for the inner city crowd across all socioeconomic groups. Multirotors and FPV are an easy, fun, and accessible way to change this.

Besides my medical practice getting in the way, I've been flying various platforms (gliders/helis/3dplanes/multirotors/scratchbuilding) for about 7 years and it would be fun to pull more kids into this hobby and make tech education fun.

Has anyone heard of any type of children's educational programs around rc flight, multirotors specifically? Any vendors that you've heard that support this? It wouldnt have to be FPV specifically (at least at first), just RC.

    thanks for any info.

    Ben

I was trying to find some for ya. I'll get in touch with my friend who actually works for 4-H and teaches the quadcopter class for them. She is out in the Hood River area.

Try to read a good article related this. You can search this on any cheap essay writing service sites. From there we can see many sample papers.

    Skinnydoc,

I am a practicing attorney and member of our local school board and am looking to share some ideas with our teachers. Like you I am interested in finding a curriculum that can bring this hobby to life for our kids. I am also interested in incorporating some of the maker aspects (such a modeling, prototyping and fabrication) into an afterschool type program. I'll share whatever I find in my search.
