I just have replaced the SAW filter in my VRX. Prepared for this like for the battle... and I was so surprised... my original SAW was solder only thru 3 pins. No extra ground, no super heating, etc. Just as simple as can be.

Anyone use an LC filter if they're powering the receiver from a battery? I've had issues ever since I switched to battery power

Careful when installing the Saw filter. Its not an easy process.
