Just a thought, instead of ripping out the audio cables... does anyone think it might be possible to solder them onto a 3.5mm female headphone jack for the use of your own earphones? This intrigues me greatly![]()

Very cool! This is what I am wondering though for the Plus goggles as the wires are still there it shouldn't take a genius (I hope) to solder them into a connector then put that in the goggles like you did Tim.
Do you keep a stock of the lenses by any chance?
Does anyone know what retailers sell the cinemizers?
Ian: Big thank you!!!
I was doubting about the temples removal. Your final result with the Sugru is more than professional.
Excellent, I just shot you a message from your GetFPV contact page.
Thanks Sircana!
I can honestly say doing this mod will give you THE best video googles for FPV I can imagine. They're super comfortable, ventilated, block out the sunlight and look seriously cool as well!
I love the 'dark-green on black' colour scheme of mine. Using the fpvmanual Delrin lens the mod is relatively easy. Now I've done it once, I could do it again in 15 mins (not including the Sugru trying time!).
The final result looks slick and professional - very 'Ghost Recon' - very 'Future Soldier'.
Love 'em.
