Just a thought, instead of ripping out the audio cables... does anyone think it might be possible to solder them onto a 3.5mm female headphone jack for the use of your own earphones? This intrigues me greatly

The OLED version of the Cinemizer actually have small mono female jacks on small PCBs (one for each side). I left them in tact and just glued them to the inside of the ski goggles. Not sure about the Plus version.

Very cool! This is what I am wondering though for the Plus goggles as the wires are still there it shouldn't take a genius (I hope) to solder them into a connector then put that in the goggles like you did Tim.

Do you keep a stock of the lenses by any chance?

The Delrin Lens and Felt kits are in stock at getfpv.com.

    Ian: Big thank you!!!

I was doubting about the temples removal. Your final result with the Sugru is more than professional.

    Thanks Sircana!

I can honestly say doing this mod will give you THE best video googles for FPV I can imagine. They're super comfortable, ventilated, block out the sunlight and look seriously cool as well!

I love the 'dark-green on black' colour scheme of mine. Using the fpvmanual Delrin lens the mod is relatively easy. Now I've done it once, I could do it again in 15 mins (not including the Sugru trying time!).

The final result looks slick and professional - very 'Ghost Recon' - very 'Future Soldier'.

    Love 'em.

Yeh, I can't see why you couldn't do this! You would need to simply snip off the wires going to the supplied headphones and extend them to a 3.5MM stereo jack socket. It's a good idea
