    Support continued development of MWOSD
This is an open source project with development by volunteers on an unfunded basis.
You can help continuing with improvements by donating just a couple of dollars towards the equipment needed to test the wide range of hardware MWOSD supports.

    Donate

Technical support is community based - I am unable to help with any hardware issues / wiring etc. etc. although there are plenty of good resources out there. I prefer to develop as my contribution....

Glad to see a post for MWOSD over here! I've only had a few flights with MWOSD, but so far it's great!

Still trying to get a hang of FPV, it's not simple.

    Keep up the great work!

    Ben

Great to see your post here. The MWOSD and it has a lot of options I want to use. At last the GUI works on a mac so I'll load it up on my boards (I have 5 of them). Is it much the same as rushosd where the refresh rate for rssi was very slow especially when using with a buffered system like ezuhf?

The one thing I know how to do well with FPV - crash. All in a day of fun!
I believe landing is a full body experience .... I do my best to aim for your body.

    Thanks fastrack!

    Wakawhere - the answer depends...

The RSSI value is updated at every screen refresh - several times a second.
RSSI value read may be less than that if RSSI value is taken from the flight controller.
Analogue RSSI directly on the OSD board is the fastest update.

Note it is also filtered over 8 readings by default. You can speed this up by disabling the filter in config.h

Its a balance between having fast reading and smoother less varying values on the screen. Different people like different approach. So far it seems most prefer the smoother reading so its in as default now. May not be required if its already filtered.

For MAC... grrrr I now hate Apple stuff because of this project!
I hope the 1.2 MAC client works for you - it works on my Hackintosh and also someone else tried it on their MAC and it was OK. It may say its from an unidentified developer - instructions are in the FAQ for that.

If anyone is using MWOSD feel free to say hello - I have no idea how much its used and want to make sure its worth the effort to continue. No financial reward here - just a lot of time invested!

Glad you decided to post on the lab. I think you'll find there is a pretty good following here. I personally use it on all my naze-based builds. Thanks for the great work.

    Happy user here.
When nothing else out there will suit your needs... design and build it yourself.
