ouch mate. Bloody hell that must have made a mess of your workroom. So are you having to repaint you copter red to cover up the mess?

I now have programmed a throttle cutoff for all my planes.
    Tutorial - Battle-H-Virus Quad

The one thing I know how to do well with FPV - crash. All in a day of fun!
I believe landing is a full body experience .... I do my best to aim for your body.

The prop actually does have some blood on it, which I found interesting. All the cuts were applied in in about 0.5 seconds. So, there was no blood pumping out yet until I reached the bathroom... then there was plenty of blood. Tomorrow the stitches come out, which is amazingly quick I think. I'll post another picture.

I've found that if I power my tricopter without the controller powered the little red light on the KK board comes on indicating that it's armed. As a test I put the throttle at 25% and turned on the controller and sure enough, it spun up to 25%! Same thing when there's no receiver... and when you're reconnecting the rx to the KK board receives "twitchy" inputs which can cause the throttle to go wild.

Ask me how I know... I've got a nice scar on the tip of my nose!

Moving your stick down (0% throttle) and to the right arms the board... down and to the right is also 0% throttle, 0% yaw... so if there's no signal, then it's 0,0 and the board arms. KaptainKuk should really make it so that you have to have BOTH sticks down and to the right for extra failsafe!

I did not know that. Thank you for sharing this important detail... sorry to hear about your nose. My scars are healing up nicely and there is just a few scabs left, but the cuts will leave permanent scars... I should take another photo...

I've been so bussy finishing up a new product prototype that I did not even take a single photo of the amazing recovery. It's incredible to see the human body's ability to heal quickly.

Here is a current shot of the almost healed arm. Looks much better after only a few weeks.

Tim, thanks for posting this and reminding us all of an important lesson, I am going to keep the picture to show people what can happen. All too often when I am flying, it draws attention and people like to get close to it. Being a new pilot, I don't like people getting too close to it. The picture will be good to remind myself as well as to illustrate to others that these things are dangerous and need to be respected.
