    Whenever I power up my birds on the workbench, I always remove the prop.

    ugh! ive only been hit once, not that badly. Scar though! no ER, just 2 bandaids. luckly it was a brushed motor, geared to an 11x4.7.
    also for multi rotors if you just put them upside down they are not as dangerous. Many have antennas on the top though I always turn on my wings with the prop laying in the grass, the motor has no torque at 0 rpm.
    I've only been injured once, but a prop explosion was almost an injury... luckly I wore thick clothes!

    another reminder to remove the prop when bench testing/setting up rth and rssi.... when it failed rc link it tried to fly home lol. i caught it and ripped the battery off. ouch

    Worst part is i even said in my head, i should take the prop off. nah fack it ill be quick.... live to fly another day, wife's pissed lol
